POLYGAMY AND THE BIBLE

 

Did God make a mistake allowing polygamy and legislating polygamy? Is polygamy now outlawed in the New Testament? There are those who would fault God and the Bible over this issue. What are the Biblical facts?

What is the purpose of this article?

 

There are those who accuse God of permitting, promoting and legislating polygamy while now polygamy is declared immoral. They claim colossal contradictions.

 

There are no contradictions in the Bible at all. NEVERTHELESS, POLYGAMY IS HEREBY IN NO WAY RECOMMENDED FOR OUR TIME. RIGHT NOW EVEN MONOGAMY IS HORRIBLY IMPERILED BY GLOBALISTS.

 

VATICAN REMOVES POLIGAMY

 

Polygamy, traditionally the preserve of the strong, always represented an intense economic and political force. No independent Robber Baron or village ruler wants that kind of competition during the Middle Ages. Outlawing polygamy was the easiest stratagem to eliminate the emergence of powerful upstarts, the appearance of entire powerful tribes. It is an essential device to keep the status quo (existing authority) in power and unchallenged.

The incestuous relationship of state and church of that time simply implemented these measures – it outlawed polygamy and eliminated this competition. It has nothing whatever to do with a directive from God. It’s pure political cunning.

 

Polygamy in the Bible

 

2 Sam. 12:8

8.  And I gave thee thy master's house, and thy master's wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would moreover have given unto thee such and such things 

                 

(Who gave David all the widowed wives of Saul? God gave David this multitude of wives in simultaneous marriage. Would God have given him even more wives? God said He would have. You think God doesn’t know what He is doing? Or are Catholics smarter than God?)

 

Deuter. 21: 15-17

15.  If a man have two wives, one beloved, and another hated, and they have born him children, both the beloved and the hated; and if the firstborn son be hers that was hated:

 16.  Then it shall be, when he maketh his sons to inherit that which he hath, that he may not make the son of the beloved firstborn before the son of the hated, which is indeed the firstborn:

 17.  But he shall acknowledge the son of the hated for the firstborn, by giving him a double portion of all that he hath: for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the firstborn is his.        

 

(Wouldn’t God know if it wasn’t right? God immediately and consistently condemned adultery, homosexuality, dishonesty and so on. This is the LAW, right out of Deuteronomy. If polygamy is wrong, why doesn’t God say so? You think God doesn’t know?)

 

Deuter. 25: 5-10

 

5.  If brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and have no child, the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger: her husband's brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and perform the duty of an husband's brother unto her.

 6.  And it shall be, that the firstborn which she beareth shall succeed in the name of his brother which is dead, that his name be not put out of Israel.

 7.  And if the man like not to take his brother's wife, then let his brother's wife go up to the gate unto the elders, and say, My husband's brother refuseth to raise up unto his brother a name in Israel, he will not perform the duty of My husband's brother.

 8.  Then the elders of his city shall call him, and speak unto him: and if he stand to it, and say, I like not to take her;

 9.  Then shall his brother's wife come unto him in the presence of the elders, and loose his shoe from off his foot, and spit in his face, and shall answer and say, So shall it be done unto that man that will not build up his brother's house.

 10.  And his name shall be called in Israel, The house of him that hath his shoe loosed

 

(Married brother was to take another wife. There is no mention whatever that the brother needs to be single. You think God would have left this up in the air? He didn’t leave adultery up in the air, even once.)

 

 

 

 

 

Matt. 22:24

 

4.  Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.       

 

Mark 12:19

 

19.  Master, Moses wrote unto us, If a man's brother die, and leave his wife behind him, and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.

 

Luke 20: 28; 34-36

 

28.  Saying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any man's brother die, having a wife, and he die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.

34.  And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:

 35.  But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:

 36.  Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

 

Exodus 21:10

 

10.  If he take him another wife; her food, her raiment, and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish.   

 

Isaias  4:1

 

1.  And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.


(Isaias speaks of Israel at the beginning of the New Millennium, after the second coming of Christ. The apocalypse presumably will leave a shortage of men. What do you suppose God’s Word is talking about?)

 

 

 

MISCELLANEOS POINTS AND OBSERVATIONS

 

  • Main consequences of polygamy – in a patriarchal structure:

Rapid population increase.

Economic and security advantages by growing your own work and defense force; at that time it was all in the absence of any government interference.

Sexual variety for husband made legal resulted in decrease of adultery, rape, divorce and irresponsibility; such outlawed behavior being prosecuted.

Genetic up-breeding

 

  • Genetic improvement

Natural Selection serves to reduce the rate of racial genetic decline by giving advantages to specimens less flawed – favoring the survival of the fittest.

 

These “fittest”, historically, have exhibited more intelligence, strength and ambition and and in due course have garnered more goods, more wives and more offspring; at that time without fatal interference from “government” schools. The more capable procreated more, something, which today’s Global Establishment finally managed to reverse completely. Today, the least capable procreate most.

 

Consider the social and political implications of Jacobs’s four wives. In Jacobs’s lifetime Israel grew to the size of a small village, then into a nation, a separate, distinct interest group, threatening the balance of power in Egypt.

 

  • CONTEMPORARY EQUALITY INSIDE A FAMILY MEANS DISASTER

Every marriage must be based upon a hierarchy of authority. Otherwise it will not work. It is equally based upon a responsible, loving, moral conduct of all members.

Biblically neither man nor woman can ever be totally free – to do anything they want – without paying for the consequences. We are all under the Law of God, which is a good law for the benefit of every individual and the benefit of humanity.

 

There is a chain of authority (and responsibility), a hierarchy appointed by God, which if broken leads always into disaster. Why were women required to cover their head in the temple? The covering signified that they were under authority of their husband. Otherwise they were open to demon possession. “Equality” with the husband leads a woman into demonism, whether she realizes it or not. Can you imagine our “Glorious Leaders” now urging freedom (from parental authority) for children, a type of ‘equality with parents’? “If it feels good, do it”?

 

The proliferation of satanic laws has replaced God’s Law in our society. Today even monogamy is wrought with greatest peril, never mind any thought of polygamy.

 

  • AVOID POLIGAMY

IN OUR TIME OF GLOBALIST INTERFERENCE AND THE LONG ESTABLISHED CATHOLIC INTERFERENCE NO POLYGAMY IS REALLY VIABLE. WHEN CHRIST JESUS RETURNS (ISAIAS 4:1) THERE APPEARS A RETURN TO POLYGAMY.

RIGHT NOW EVEN MONOGAMY IS IMPERILED BY GLOBALISTS.

 

THE ADVICE IS TO FORGET POLYGAMY. ADULTERY IS FORBIDDEN FOR US AND A POLYGAMOUS MARRIAGE WILL NOT WORK IN OUR LEGAL ENVIRONMENT. IF YOU SELECT YOUR MATE WITH CARE (AS PARENTS USED TO DO A HUNDRED YEARS AGO FOR YOU) YOU PROBABLY WILL HAVE ALL THE SEX YOU CAN POSSIBLY WANT. LET IT BE ENOUGH. COMPLETE ALL PRENUPTIAL CONTRACTS AND CONCENTRATE ON A LIFE OF REGULAR FAMILY BIBLE STUDY AND HOME SCHOOLING.

 

SEVERAL DECADES AGO POLYGAMY MIGHT STILL HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE FOR A CHRISTIAN INSIDE A MUSLIM POPULATION; IN NORTH AFRICA OR INDIA. NOW THE MUSLIMS ARE INCREASINGLY UNDER ATTACK, PROBABLY UNTIL THEIR FAITH AND RELIGION IS GRADUALLY BUT FULLY DESTROYED. HEADING DOWN THERE IS (SOONER OR LATER) HEADING INTO A LIVING DISASTER.

 

IN THE NEW TESTAMENT POLYGAMY IS NOT ALLOWED FOR PASTORS (BISHOPS) ANYWAY, PROBABLY ON THE GROUNDS OF NEGLECTING THEIR FLOCK. WHY THIS COMMANDMENT? IT WAS PROBABLY BECAUSE POLYGAMY WAS PRACTICED WIDELY DURING THESE TIMES. OTHERWISE THE PROHIBITION WOULD HAVE BEEN FOR ALL CHRISTIANS TO AVOID POLYGAMY, NOT ONLY “BISHOPS”.
